Nugco Productions is an up and coming photography, film and production company.

When Richard Duncan told us he needed a company logo for a new side-project he had in the mix, he gave us a brief criteria of two things, “Create what you believe works and make sure it looks awesome.” Therefore with few restrictions, our minds and all the built up creative thoughts were released. Needless to say we had a lot of fun with this logo.

Incase you are curious, ‘Why the handgun?’ The reasoning behind the handgun is simple. What is it that photographers and filmmakers do? Shoot film and shoot photos. It only seemed right to do so. As for the speech bubble around the handgun, it is an easily recognisable symbol of communication. Effective logo design should not only look great, but also have a meaningful purpose. The Nugco Productions logo successfully portrays the companies values and friendly, creative culture.
